This is the second version of America created, the first was Blue in color not the white seen here. The original America was created so that all profits Ty received from the sale of the bear would go to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund for 9/11/01. This new American Red Cross Bear works a little different! All profits from this bear go to the Local Red Cross of the Buyer of the Bear (probably based on your zipcode when you order the Beanie) The Beanie can only be bought online on the Ty.com website for a limited time. Several weeks after the white America became avaliable online Ty started to switch the pattern of the Beanies ears on the image on the website, soon people started receiving white America with switched ears! This was a great way to get people to buy more white America's!  A Ty signed white America Beanie sold for $7,300 on Ebay for the American Red Cross on May 02, 2002! Click here for more information!
