Babe-e 2003
On December 16, 2002 Ty introduced Babe-e 2003 the Beanie Kid and TyStore exclusive! Babe-e sold for $8 plus shipping only on the Ty.com website. At about the time Babe-e was released rumors were going around that for the coming New Year Ty was going to discontinue several of his lines, include Attic Treasures and Beanie Kids. This would make Babe-e special, and the last of its kind!
Sure enough shortly before the 1st of 2003 Ty retired more than 50 products including all remaining current Ty Kids! It looks as though the Kids are gone for good! Babe-e is expected to retire before the end of January 2003!
